Buyer Beware: Glitchy Promos & a Customer Service Nightmare 😠
I'm writing this as a warning to others. My experience was beyond frustrating, and I feel completely misled. In my opinion, this company is: Dishonest, doesn't honor promos. Makes it impossible to collect offer when the site is full of glitches. No customer Service 24 hours, no agent. Unprofessional. Their website failed to apply a BOGO offer, and when I contacted customer service for what should have been an easy fix, their proposed "solution" was so illogical that I was forced to challenge them, which ultimately led to this review.
Customer: Hi, your website glitched and didn't apply the BOGO promotion to my order. The glasses and prescription are correct. Can you please just credit the difference back to my card?
CS Rep: I understand your frustration. To receive the promotional pricing, our policy requires you to return the glasses. You can then place a new order, and we will ensure the BOGO offer is correctly applied.
Customer: That makes absolutely no sense. You want me to send back perfectly good glasses just to reorder the exact same pair because your site messed up? That’s an absurd waste of time. Just issue the credit.
CS Rep: I do apologize for the inconvenience, ma'am, but that is the only process our system allows for this type of correction. I cannot issue a direct partial refund for the promotion.
Customer: That’s unacceptable. You’re making me jump through hoops for your mistake. It’s an easy solution, but you’re choosing not to do it. This is terrible service.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
