Health Hazard & Ghost Customer Service: My Worst Online Glasses Nightmare! 🚨
Let me share a truly terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a warning. I recently ordered safety glasses, and what I received was completely wrong – they sent me the wrong prescription, causing dizziness and nausea. This wasn't just an inconvenience; it affected my health and safety. The frustration grew exponentially when it became impossible to get ahold of a live person to actually help get this resolved. After multiple chat sessions, phone calls, and emails, I still couldn't get in touch with anyone. I felt compelled to leave this review and try one more time to connect with customer service because this kind of service is unacceptable.
Customer: "Hello, I desperately need help. I received my order, but you sent me the wrong prescription safety glasses, and wearing them is causing me dizziness and nausea." CS Rep: "I am so sorry to hear about this concerning issue with your safety glasses, especially that it's causing you physical discomfort. That is certainly not the experience we want for our customers. Can I please get your order number to look into this immediately?" Customer: "My order number is 123456. I've tried reaching out multiple times through chat and email, but I haven't been able to speak to anyone to resolve this. It's been incredibly frustrating." CS Rep: "Thank you for the order number, I see it here. I sincerely apologize for the difficulty you've experienced in reaching us. Let me look at the details right now. We absolutely need to get you the correct prescription glasses as soon as possible, and I'll arrange a return for the incorrect pair at no cost to you." Customer: "So, how quickly can you actually get the correct glasses to me? And will someone follow up to ensure this doesn't happen again?" CS Rep: "I will personally prioritize your reorder for the correct prescription glasses and aim to have them shipped out within 3 business days. I'll also send you a direct email with tracking information and a link to schedule a follow-up call with me if you have any further concerns."
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
