A Masterclass in Terrible Customer Service: Delays, Silence, and a Canceled Order 😠
I'm writing this to warn others about my truly terrible online shopping experience. Take it from me, and please do not believe the estimated production times! What was supposed to be 6 business days became 14 with no end in sight before I finally cancelled. After I made multiple attempts at getting an update from customer service, their only answer was that “someone will get back to you in 1-2 days.” Nobody ever did. This total lack of transparency is why I had to contact them one last time before writing this review.
Customer: My order is now over a week past its estimated completion date. I've been told twice that someone would get back to me with an update, and nothing. Where are my glasses?
CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the delay and for the lack of communication you've experienced. That is completely unacceptable. Can I have your order number to check the status immediately?
Customer: It’s [Order Number]. I just don’t understand why no one can tell me what the problem is. It's been two weeks.
CS Rep: Thank you for that. I'm looking at your order, and I am so sorry, but the lab has not provided a specific reason for the delay in our system. I can escalate this, but any new information might take another 1-2 days.
Customer: That’s the exact same thing I was told a week ago. I'm done. Please just cancel my order and issue a full refund.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration completely. I have cancelled the order and processed your refund. Again, I am truly sorry for this experience.
