My Shopping Nightmare: Paid for Express Shipping and Waited 11 Days 😤
I'm writing this to warn everyone about my absolutely awful online shopping experience. My old glasses broke, so I urgently ordered a new pair on March 30th and even paid extra for 3-5 day express shipping. But my experience was a nightmare. Day 5 roles around still in production, day 10 still in production. On day 11, I had no choice but to call them. My conclusion? This is a terrible company. Stop giving terrible companies your money let them die out because someone doesnt give a crap about their customers and I will be telling all my four eyed friends to never shop here. This is the conversation I was forced to have.
Customer: Hi, I'm calling about my order. I placed it on March 30th and paid for 3-5 day express shipping. It's been 11 days and my order is still "in production." What is going on?
CS Rep: I'm very sorry to hear about the delay. I completely understand your frustration. Could you please provide me with your order number so I can look into this for you?
Customer: It’s [Order Number]. I paid extra for express shipping because my old glasses are broken. This is unacceptable. I want a refund for the shipping fee.
CS Rep: I see your order now. You are absolutely right, and I sincerely apologize for this delay. It is not the standard we aim for. I have gone ahead and processed a full refund for your $10 shipping charge.
Customer: Fine. But that doesn't change the fact that I'm still without glasses. This whole experience has been terrible, honestly.
CS Rep: I understand completely, and I am truly sorry for the situation. I will personally escalate your order with our lab team to have it prioritized and shipped out as soon as possible.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
